Stassys Brundza collection goes under the hammer at Coys

Some fascinating American vehicles from a major private Eastern European collection will be offered on 10 January at the Interclassics and Topmobile show at Maastricht in The Netherlands.

Alongside familiar former USSR brands such as Zil and Tatra, there are nearly 60 American cars spanning 80 years of production.

The oldest is a 1904 Cadillac Model B 4S, and the most recent a 1990 Cadillac Brougham limousine. Plenty of other limos are on offer too, including a couple of Series 75 Fleetwoods with the optional gold grille, and a Tickford Aston Martin Lagonda that’s reputedly one of just four extended wheelbase cars.

Seventies muscle cars are well represented too, with a Corvette Stingray, Pontiac Firebird and Lincoln Continental among the lots. And the youngtimers are covered too by a 1993 Audi V8 Quattro and a 1991 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

All the cars are offered with no reserve. Estimated prices range from €3,000-€5,000 for a 1982 Volkswagen Type 181 open-top off-roader to €120,000-€160,000 for a Lithuanian registered 1968 Mercedes 600 Pullman with extensive history.
