Low-mile Mini up for grabs at Charterhouse sale

With just two owners from new – both living in Weston Super Mare – this very original Mini has covered less than 30,000 miles since it rolled off the production line in 1968.

A Super de Luxe, it came with a few more luxuries than standard models, namely a heater and chrome bumpers. This pampered car comes with the original toolkit and spare tyre, which is unused.

Other affordable classic cars going under the hammer on 17 September include a 1970 MG B GT in Racing Green (lowest estimate £5k) and a 1969 Morris Minor Convertible (£3k).

If you have a little more cash to spend – and want to stand out from the crowd – you may want to bid on the 1964 Mini Moke. Its mid-blue paintwork is complemented by a rainbow-striped bonnet and a red, white and blue front grille.

If you’d rather have a go-faster car than a go-faster bonnet, there’s also a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet up for sale. It’s expected to achieve at least £25k.

Or, if you prefer pre-war, the 1947 Jaguar MKIV looks a tempting proposition. Finished in black with a 2.5-litre engine, it’s likely to sell for £20-£22k.
